This AYUDH project, which was blessed by Amma during her visit to the UK (click here to view the video - http://www.ayudh.eu/2008/amma-uk-visit/), is due to launch on Valentines Weekend 2009 (14th/15th February). This project will be the first of its kind in the UK and aims to plant 800-1000 native english trees over 3 years. In the last month 150 saplings have been delivered to the acre of land, which has been donated and where AYUDH will be planting. The project will take place on the edge of Dartmoor, a National Park in Devon County, South West England. The initiation of the project itself will be a whole weekend, starting with a group trip from London to the site which has on-site accomodation in traditional mongolian yurts heated by natural ovens.

In the run up to the project AYUDH UK have produced Gift Vouchers, which can be purchased either to support the project or to be presented as a gift for any occasion. These ‘Tree Vouchers’ valued at £10 each will cover the cost of planting one sapling and the care over the next few years. An additional donation of £2 will allow one to track the life history of the adopted tree and photographs would be posted via e-mail.
