The AYUDH UK members have been fundraising all year-round, including the “Amma’s Secret Garden” project, Cookie Bakes and “Amma’s Acre” Tree-planting project. Following Amma’s visit to the UK this year the newly appointed AYUDH Treasurer, Bhalin Sreyas, made AYUDH’s substantial donation to Friends of Amma – the organisation that represents the MA Math in the UK. During Br. Shubamrita’s visit to the UK on the 17th December 2008, AYUDH took the opportunity to present the donation in the presence of one of Amma’s senior diciples. The donation raised in just one year meant that all the tables that were used at this year’s Amma Program was funded by the AYUDH movement with excess to help fund the UK program itself.
