AYUDH India: Celebrating UN’s World Peace Day, Sept 21st, 2009, Amritapuri, India

AYUDH is celebrating UN World Peace Day on September 21st, 2009 with students from Amrita University in Amritapuri, Kerala, India. The program includes talks by Dr. T V Muralivallabhan on “Internal Peace & External Harmony in the Context of Man-Nature Relationship”, Dr. Diana Wais on “Green Sollutions” and a prayer for world peace and talk by Swami Poornamritananda Puri, General Secretary of MAM.

Workshops in Herbal Bodycare, Paper Making, Nature Art, Weaving Recycled Trash into Treasures, Organic Vegetable and Tulsi Gardening & Composting will be offered.

The activity is part of the “Green Year” initiative by MAM and has been organized in a joint effort by AYUDH and GreenFriends.
