AYUDH Minnesota – Our Fifth Service Activity: Food Preparation and Distribution

On Sunday, March 14th 2010, AYUDH Minnesota members gathered at the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the fifth service activity. We prepared a full course Indian meal and served it to 100 of the House’s inmates. The RMHC houses poor people from various countries who come to the USA for surgeries, treatment of disabilities, etc. They are provided with three meals a day and comfortable shelter and financial support for treatments, during their stay.

This is what being a human is all about…taking care of other people in need. I’m glad I came across this post. It just puts you in a good mood. With as much bad news that we are always bombarded with, it’s definitely refreshing.
It’s funny, i thought this was going to be about something related to food preparation, something interested in.
