Across then cities in eight counties, AYUDH Europe promoted the No Hate Speech Movement of the Council of Europe at Amma’s annual “Embracing the World” charity tour. With more than 50,000 people attending the events in November and December 2017, we talked to many interested youth and people of all ages, informing and engaging them for the campaign, which aims at reducing Hate Speech online, fostering media literacy of young people and promoting a diverse and respectful culture of online discourse.
Behind the backdrop of our logo wall people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds took photos to demonstrate their support of the camapign and call for No Hate – and MORE LOVE!
As a member of the National Committee for the No Hate Speech Movement in Germany, AYUDH also signed and released a statement on UN International Human Rights Day, 10th December, reminding of the significance to protect human rights – offline and online.
